About Mick Heron and the Tribute 23 project.
As an avid creator and native of El Paso, TX, my passion for the Tribute 23 project was ignited by a desire to maintain the empathy and compassion that I witnessed from afar while residing in Los Angeles, California at the time. The love that emanated from the August 3rd shooting tragedy traveled state and country lines and brought the world together for a brief moment in time. This inspired the song "Never Gonna Fade" which you can stream below.
The song then manifested into the project, TRIBUTE 23, that fused the artistic forces of area creators with the sole intention of soothing the community. This form of inventive entertainment among nature would aim to advocate for mental health awareness and recovery.
